The latest live-action film “Kishibe Rohan Doesn’t Move,” “Kishibe Rohan Doesn’t Move: Confessional,” will be released on May 23, 2025. The preview and visual featuring Kishibe Rohan and others, filmed in the city of Water, have been announced. In addition, advance tickets for Movie Ticket will begin on sale from March 14th.
“Kishibe Rohan Doesn’t Move” is a masterpiece spin-off that was born from the popular comic “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” by Araki Hirohiko, which has a total circulation of over 120 million copies. It depicts Kishibe Rohan, a popular manga artist with the special ability “Heaven’s Door”, which allows him to make his partner a book and read his background and secrets, and write down instructions, as he confronts a strange incident.
The film, which was made into a drama starring Takahashi Issei, aired its first season in December 2020, the second season in December 2021, the third season in December 2022, and the fourth season in May 2024. Starting at number one trending trend for the first broadcast, it has been ranked high every day every time it airs, and many fans of the original work praised the quality, including “the ideal live-action adaptation” and “they are too perfect.” In response to the popularity and response, the first film version of Kishibe Rohan: Going to the Louvre, which was reunited by a live-action drama team, was released on May 26, 2023, and became a huge hit with over 900,000 audiences and a box office gross of approximately 1.25 billion yen.

This is the memorable first film in the manga series Kishibe Rohan, and the legendary episode “The Confession Room,” which is one of the most popular among fans, is filmed in the first Japanese film, “Full-length film Venice Location,” and has been made into a complete film on the highest scale ever.
This preview has been released. The video opens with Kishibe Rohan walking as he walks as if carrying the shadow of death lurking in the water city of Venice. Rohan, a popular manga artist with the special ability of Heaven’s Door, who can read people’s hearts and memories into books and write orders, hears the terrifying “confessions” of a man wearing a mask in the confession room of a church he visits. It was about a curse that was placed on a man (Daito Shunsuke) who accidentally killed a vagrant (Totsugi Shigeyuki) in the past. “When you reach the peak of happiness, I will give you a more despair than I do”…The resentment of the vagrant makes men haunted with happiness one after another.
The beautiful mask craftsman Maria (Tina Tamashiro) asks Rohan what a curse is. Then there is Tamiya (Iura Arata), a suspicious man who appears everywhere Rohan goes. After their fateful encounters with the two, Rohan eventually realizes that a “curse that will make you happy” is also attacking her.
What is the true identity of the masked man? What kind of ending will the story be led to from the door called truth, which Rohan opens out of uncontrollable curiosity… The film adds original episodes to the original work by Araki Hirohiko, and foreshadows the ultimate suspense story full of “curses” that continue beyond time and space. Also pay attention to Rohan, who uses Heaven’s Door in Italian.
