From the anime “3rd Year Class Z Ginpachi Sensei,” an illustration featuring eight characters including Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura, Katsura, and Takasugi working hard at the “ball tournament.” POP UP SHOP, which sells new merchandise using these, is currently being held at Ikebukuro P’PARCO until March 30th, 2025.
Gintama is an Edo era where values suddenly changed when the attacks of celestial nations (aliens) have been a thriving entertainment packed with hilarious jokes and action, as well as humanity and bonds. The TV anime aired for 13 years from 2006, and its final episode was with episode 367 in October 2018.
And “Gintama 3rd Year Class Z Ginpachi Sensei” is a spin-off novel of the manga “Gintama” by Sorachi Hideaki (author: Osaki Tomohito). Set in a school, characters from around the world of Gintama depict students enjoying a slightly unusual youth under their homeroom teacher, Sakata Ginpachi.
The POP UP SHOP that will be held recently features eight characters, including Ginpachi Sensei, who are taking on different ball games tournaments, including soccer, volleyball, and baseball. A large number of merchandise are now available, using illustrations with themes typical of school stories.
The lineup includes random merchandise “hologram cards,” “die-cut stickers,” and “acrylic cards.” There are also 16 types of can badges, and the same character also has a glitter version.
Some of the items you can choose from are the acrylic stand and the phone tab set. There are also visual “mini acrylic art” in which characters gather together in one type.
Deformed illustrations are also designed, and the lineup includes acrylic stands, “random hologram can badges,” “random mini acrylic blocks,” “acrylic card holders,” “acrylic memo stands,” and “swaying keychains.”
Also, a cute “uniform-shaped double-sided keychain” and a convenient “marcheering bag” and “tea can” are now available in deformed illustration patterns.
For each item purchased at the venue for 3,000 yen or more (tax included), one bromide will be given at a random gift from all nine types.
