“Gundam” “Shall I get you to show me… the performance and performance of motorcycle wear” Char becomes a rider!? Introducing a collaboration

STRICT-G, a brand that develops the worldview of the Mobile Suit Gundam series, collaborates with motorcycle wear manufacturer KUSHITANI. A total of 12 items of riding gear inspired by Char and Banshee from Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam UC will be available for sale at Premium Bandai and other locations from March 12, 2025.

The Gundam series is a robot anime produced by Sunrise, starting with the first film, Mobile Suit Gundam, which aired in 1979. With realistic depictions of war, which treats robots as “mobile suits,” detailed scientific research, and intricate human dramas, they have established the genre of “real robot anime,” which cannot be discussed in simple terms by simply recommending good and punishing evil, which was the trend in robot anime up until now, causing a huge boom.

Starting January 17th, the theatrical advance version of the new series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, will be released. The TV series will begin airing on 30 Nippon TV stations from April 8th.

The collaboration with Kushitani, a motorcycle wear manufacturer that offers a wide range of products, from racing, mainly leather suits and gloves, touring gear, to urban use items, has a lineup of items inspired by two works: Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam UC.

First, the Inventive Mesh Gloves are made of a water-repellent goat material with a shade print and a punched mesh finish, and polyester material. The knuckle protector is breathable, and the index finger and thumb also have the ability to touch your smartphone while wearing it.

The “RED COMET” model, which mainly features black and red accents, is inspired by Char. Mobile Suit Gundam UC has released a model with a focus on white, typical of Unicorn Gundam, and a colour inspired by the Bist Foundation.

“REBRO HOODIE” is a popular hood design developed by Kushitani, featuring a thick cotton touch material with a diamond-like unevenness. The back side also has unevenness, reducing the area around the skin, making it even more comfortable to wear.

From Mobile Suit Gundam, the left sleeve is colored with Char’s colouring, improving sportiness. In Mobile Suit Gundam UC, this is a white color scheme inspired by the Unicorn Gundam psycho frame, and this one is also available in two colors.

The “pull-up hoodie” is also made from a unique material that feels good on the skin. The lineup includes two colors: Char’s black and red, and navy colors that resemble “Banchi.”

The sweat-absorbing, quick-drying “Flow T-shirt” features motifs from each title printed on the bag. Available in three colors: black, a Char-inspired color scheme, white from Unicorn Gundam, and navy from Banshee. The back also features the “Kushitani” logo, designed with an oval Mount Fuji.

The Neck Guard is also available in three similar colors. It is a stretchy material that can be used as a face guard when riding a motorcycle or exercising, or wrapped around the neck to prevent sunburn, making it useful for a variety of purposes.

All 12 types of Mobile Suit Gundam items from the STRICT-G and Kushitani collaboration will begin pre-orders at 1pm on March 12th at the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai. Shipping is scheduled to start in April.
General sales at STRICT-G stores will start on March 15th. Only gloves will be available from the end of March.
