It has been announced that “Fermat’s Cuisine,” which has been decided to be made into a TV anime, will be broadcast every Saturday at 11:30pm on the 24 TV Asahi network nationwide, “IMAnimation” slot from July 2025. As a result, teaser visuals and teaser PV have been released. Additional information has also been revealed at the AnimeJapan 2025, which will be held on March 22nd and 23rd.
“Fermat’s Cuisine” is the latest work by Kobayashi Yugo, the author of the manga “Aoashi,” which has sold over 23 million copies in total. In 2023, the cast of the most exciting and leading role-playing cast was adapted into a TV drama and became a hot topic.
Kitada Takeshi, a genius mathematics boy who has given up on his dream of becoming a mathematician, takes on the challenge of a talented world of culinary culinary, along with Asakura Umi, a mysterious charismatic chef. The story unfolds, in which Take creates beautiful dishes that will surprise those around him with his mathematical thinking, and whether he can grow as a chef along with the sea.
A TV anime featuring brilliant cuisine and human dramas guided by mathematics, will finally be aired in July. It will be broadcast every Saturday at 11:30pm on the IMAnimation slot on 24 TV Asahi’s nationwide network.
In addition, a teaser visual has been released, with the catchphrase “Mathematics makes cooking passionate!” This is a picture filled with various formulas scattered around the sea with its eyes shining and standing happily behind it.
The teaser PV was also unveiled. The dramatic depicts the sea of the charismatic chef, as he struggles to create recipes using mathematical thinking, as he challenges God with his cooking.
Taku, who has experienced a setback in the world of mathematics, is invited to the sea and enters the world of cooking. The video will make your heart warm as the story unfolds as geniuses aim to achieve high and create beautiful, glamorous dishes.
It has also been revealed that autographed colored paper by Tomita Ryosuke, who plays Kitada Gaku, and Saka Taito, who plays Asakura Umi, will be exhibited at the TV Asahi booth (AnimeJapan East Hall Booth No. A29). In addition to the TV Asahi booth, original postcards will be distributed free of charge at the Pia booth (AnimeJapan East 2 Hall Booth No. A26).
Also, two main cast members will be taking the stage at the “Pia Presents TV anime “Fermat’s Cooking” and “The Magician Cunon Is Seen” Special Stage” which will start at 11am on March 23rd, so be sure to stop by multiple booths at the venue.
In addition, the official X (formerly Twitter) of this work will be holding a gift that will be entered into a lottery to win a colored paper with the autographs of Tomita Ryosuke and Saka Taito until March 19th. For details, please visit the official anime website.
