A collaboration between the dress-up doll “Licca-chan” and the makeup brand “KATE” has been realized. Takara Tomy will release the “KATE LICCA -Make My Color-” series, where you can enjoy Licca-chan’s makeup play, from April 19th.
The dress-up doll “Licca-chan” was born in 1967, and while reflecting the times and trends, it has developed items that shape the aspirations and dreams of children. You can enjoy “pretend play” and “stylish play” using dresses and houses, and you can set profiles of your age, family, friends, etc. In recent years, they have been publishing information by opening official social media and YouTube channels.
Licca-chan has recently collaborated with KATE, a makeup brand that was born in 1997. A doll set called “KATE LICCA -Make My Color-” where you can enjoy Licca’s makeup play has been announced.
We focus on the cool design and size based on KATE’s brand color “black”, and you can enjoy a variety of makeup by combining makeup colors. Makeup can be removed with tissue wet with water, so you can play over and over again.
“KATE LICCA -Make My Color-” is a doll set where you can enjoy Licca’s makeup with doll lipstick and makeup plaster.
Licca’s makeup is natural so that it stands out with lip and eye color, while her hairstyle is no bang and mature. The voluminous skirt and the bejoux on the chest also create a cute look.
Comes in two lip colors (red, orange) and three eye and cheek colors (pink, blue, brown). The included KATE LICCA Makebook introduces a variety of styling.
The KATE LICCA -Make My Color- series also includes the KATE LICCA -Make My Color- DX deluxe set with 5 colors of makeup and makeup pouches, as well as the KATE LICCA Make Refill Set, a refill ink set for refilling makeup.
In “KATE LICCA -Make My Color- DX”, Make Pact is luxurious with a mirror, and comes in two additional eye and blush colors, totaling five colors (pink, blue, brown, orange, purple). A makeup pouch from the original deluxe set is also included.
Ahead of the release, TV commercials for the “KATE LICCA -Make My Color-” series are also scheduled to be broadcast successively from early March.
Furthermore, on April 18th, the day before the release date, a collaboration advance experience event will be held at Shibuya Sakura Stage, which is KATE’s global flagship store, KATE TOKYO. We will be offering workshops and collaboration photo spots where you can experience KATE LICCA.
The “KATE LICCA -Make My Color-” series will be available from April 19th at toy specialty stores, department stores and mass retailers nationwide, online shops, and Takara Tomy official shopping site “Takara Tomy Mall.”
