The release date for Disney’s live-action film “Lilo & Stitch” in Japan has been set for June 6th, 2025. A heartwarming fantasy about the “miraculous” encounter between a rampage alien Stitch who crash lands on Earth and a girl named Lilo, who is always alone, is back on screen this summer.
“Lilo & Stitch” is a completely live-action adaptation of the animated film of the same name, which has successfully adapted many animated films such as Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, which has caused an unprecedented Stitch boom due to its adorableness.
Lilo, a girl who lost her parents and lives with her sister, is a slightly unusual girl. A fluff-faced, super cute, yet extremely violent alien appears in front of her, who is always alone. Its true identity was an alien, a different name, “Prototype No. 626,” developed as a destructive creature. Lilo, who named him Stitch, brings him home. The encounter was an unexpected start to an unprecedented incident and a wonderful miracle.
Unlike his big eyes and cute fluffy appearance, Stitch loves to break things, graffiti and play pranks. Stitch’s naughtyness, which never stops once he starts going wild, never stops.
Among the visuals that were unveiled earlier, the visuals for “Moana and the Legendary Sea 2,” which was released last year and was a huge hit in film history, shows her appearing on the beach and nibbling with an innocent smile on her face. In addition, in the visuals of “The Lion King: Mufasa,” he took over one of the most famous scenes in the series, which marks the birth of a new king, and showed a satisfying expression. He also shows him destroying the mirror ball, celebrating 2025 with a smile, and he can’t take his eyes off Stitch, who is making a rampage that is not bound by the frame even before the film’s release.
Speaking of Stitch, it became an unprecedented boom around 2007-2012, and merchandise became extremely popular, especially among people in their teens and 20s.
